After 24 years of hosting The Evening Sports Page, Ron Scarborough retired from The ESP due to his health. He decided to turn The Evening Sports Page over to Cade Crenshaw. Cade was his producer and fellow co-host. Cade continued Ron’s legacy and brought the sports world to the Upstate of South Carolina on weeknights. Austin Silvey joined Cade as the shows co-host/producer on September 26, 2017.

Now, after 26 years of being on the air, the Evening Sports Page has signed off. The last show from 101.7 WGOG was on March 28, 2019. Austin Silvey now owns and operates The Evening Sports Page as a sports content website. We cover Clemson Athletics, local/Upstate High School Football, College Football, NFL Draft, the Senior Bowl and more! Our goal is to bring you great sports content in a unique format & style.

As of right now, the ESP is an unpaid/volunteer service with just myself running everything. I do all the writing/editing, website editing, player evaluations, podcast, and social media updates. My father (Chuck Silvey) and I each share in the photography side of things. It is a lot of hard work and requires a lot of time and sacrifice. Sports media is a passion of mine and always has been. My goal is to be involved in it in a full-time capacity one day. I would love to expand the ESP and make a career out of it. But right now anything I make from it is either off ads or the generosity of donations.

Over the last few years, since I got involved with the ESP, I've spent an abundance more than I've made. And I'm not complaining at all because its something I enjoy doing. I've got to travel to some amazing events and venues over time and experienced things I never would have without ESP. But as I look to make an eventual career move and fully invest in the website and brand, I need all the help I can get. Whether it be a donation, word of mouth, sharing posts on social media, etc, everything helps. I appreciate everyone who has invested into ESP and over the years and continues to do so. I LOVE doing this and look forward to what the future holds!

**If you would like to donate to the ESP, either click the yellow 'DONATE' button at the top of the page (Paypal) OR click HERE to donate via Venmo. Thank you so much for supporting the Evening Sports Page!
