A Community-Fueled Reward System in Apex Legends

Ever get sick of dying and getting respawned, only to die almost immediately in Apex Legends? Well, this week, all of those respawns and revives will help you get a whole lot of free Apex Packs from the folks at Respawn Entertainment. The frustration of repeatedly dying and respawning can be a real test of patience, but now, it’s turning into a golden opportunity to earn some significant rewards.

Season 24’s Creator Commissioner Event

Season 24’s Creator Commissioner event kicked off this week with challenges from Apex streamer Ninjaya, and they’re ones the community can all complete together. The challenge is simple yet massive: if the entire player population in Apex revives or respawns teammates or themselves in any battle royale mode a total of 70 million times this week, every player will receive 20 free Apex Packs courtesy of Respawn. Initially, this might sound like an impossible task, but the community has already made incredible progress. After just over a day of the challenge being active, the official Apex account revealed that the community has already hit the first milestone of 20 million revives and respawns. This means the community has already secured 10 free Apex Packs and 20 battle pass stars.

The Reward Breakdown

We’re already a third of the way there, and the excitement is palpable. The completion of the challenge will also reward players with The Death Ray Wingman skin, which is one of the game’s most sought-after items. You might know it as one of the game’s infamous pay-to-win skins, thanks to its clean iron sights on the weapon. This skin is a significant carrot on the stick, adding even more incentive to participate in the challenge.

Making the Challenge Easier

To make the challenge even a little bit easier for you, the game is currently running the Redemption LTM (Limited Time Mode) as a battle royale option for trios. This mode gives you a respawn token you can use if you’re eliminated from a match. These respawns count just the same as the ones you earn by sweating it out in ranked mode, trying to find a respawn beacon to bring back your teammates without attracting the attention of half the lobby. Yes, I do speak from personal experience, and it’s a relief to know that these respawns are just as valid for the challenge.

More Rewards on the Horizon

This isn’t the only challenge that will reward players with free packs this season. More Creator Commissioner challenges will be issued in the coming weeks, with freebies promised to the entire community as rewards for their completion. These challenges will come with their own associated LTMs, making the journey to more free packs both enjoyable and rewarding. If you’ve been wishing you had more money to spend on Packs to go for your Heirloom Shards, now’s a great time to jump into the game and help the community work towards some challenge goals.

Join the Fun and Reap the Rewards

So, whether you’re a seasoned veteran or a new player, there’s no better time to dive into Apex Legends. The community spirit is high, and the rewards are more than worth the effort. From the initial 10 free Apex Packs and 20 battle pass stars to the exclusive Death Ray Wingman skin, there’s a lot to look forward to. And with more challenges on the horizon, the fun is just getting started. So, gear up, team up, and get ready to make those respawns and revives count!
