They will inform you that you need to set up an Alchemy Table to proceed. This table is crucial for crafting the Gold Lamp, a key item needed to complete the quest.
Scavenge for the Alchemy Table Pieces
The first major task is to find the components needed to assemble the Alchemy Table. These items are hidden throughout the Aladdin Realm, so be prepared for a bit of exploring. The required items are:
- Alchemical Cauldron
- Alchemy Table Base
- Alchemy Table Crucible
To find these items, head out the main gate behind Jasmine and Aladdin and venture into the desert. The Amulet will help guide you through the sandstorm. Follow these steps to locate each item:
- Alchemical Cauldron: Turn left after exiting Agrabah, and walk into the sandstorm. On the other side, you’ll find a small open area. Head to the back left corner to spot the cauldron among the rocks.
- Alchemy Table Base: This item is in the back right corner of the same area as the cauldron. It’s relatively close to the cauldron, so you should find it easily.
- Alchemy Table Crucible: Exit the entryway to Agrabah, turn right, and break the rocks to find the crucible in the middle. If you’re coming from inside the sandstorm, head straight out and slightly past the entryway to locate it.
Assembling the Alchemy Table
Once you have all the pieces, return to the Artisans’ District in Agrabah. This area is located behind the massive swirling sandstorm on the left side. Walk over to Aladdin and turn slightly right to find a sparkling spot on the ground between two golden braziers. Interact with the sparkles to transfer the Alchemical Cauldron, the Alchemy Table Base, and the Alchemy Table Crucible to the table. After placing the pieces, chat with Aladdin about the next steps.
Fueling the Alchemy Table
To complete the setup, you need to gather fuel for the golden braziers on either side of the Alchemy Table. You’ll need two Charcoal and two Black Fuel Bottles. Here’s where to find them:
- Charcoal:
- First fire pit: Right behind the Alchemy Table in the left corner.
- Second fire pit: In the right corner next to the ramp you used to access the Artisans’ District.
- Black Fuel Bottles: Next to the giant swirling sandstorm in the middle of the Central Market. Go to the spot where you first met Jasmine, then go around the right side of the storm to find the stall with black fuel all over it on your right.
Once you have all four items, head back to the Artisans’ District and approach the Alchemy Table. Interact with the golden braziers on both sides to place one Charcoal and one Black Fuel Bottle in each. Chat with Aladdin and then with Jasmine to discuss the next steps.
Crafting the Gold Lamp
Jasmine will task you with gathering supplies to craft a Gold Lamp. You need:
- 18 Golden Shards: These should already be in your inventory from breaking sandstone deposits during previous quests. If you need more, use your Royal Pickaxe to mine nodes around the Realm.
- Lamp Mold: This is located in a glowing and sparkling dig spot on the left side of the stone stairs right in front of Jasmine. Use your Royal Shovel to dig it up.
Once you have the required materials, walk over to the crafting station behind Jasmine and interact with it. Open the crafting menu, switch to the “Functional Items” category, and choose the “Gold Lamp” option. After crafting the lamp, head back to Jasmine to complete the "Breaking Through" quest.
