Coming off a series sweep of Georgia Tech over the weekend, we spoke with Clemson Assistant Baseball Coach Bradley Lecroy in an exclusive interview.

After last week's two midweek games, the cupboard was bare for Clemson pitching. Michigan State's high powered offensive night forced the Tigers to use eight pitchers to finish out the 9-7 victory.

Clemson bounced back well in the GT series using only eight pitchers through three games.

On Tuesday, Monte Lee and the Tigers will be tasked with taking on Charleston Southern and Head Coach Adam Ward. Ward was a catcher at Clemson from 2007-2009.

Clemson's 15-1 start to the 2018 season is their best start since 2002. Clemson went on to lose in the CWS to South Carolina that year.

In Tuesday's matchup, Clemson will be sending freshman RHP Holt Jones from Santa Monica, California to the mound.

SEASON STATS: 3.1 innings pitched (2 appearances) 1-0 / 2 hits, 1 earned run, 3 walks, 5 strikeouts / 2.70 ERA, 1.500 WHIP
