Introducing the Enchanted Flower Quest
Once you’ve successfully brought Jasmine and Aladdin to your Valley in Disney Dreamlight Valley, the adventure truly begins. As you nurture your friendship with these beloved characters, Jasmine will introduce a captivating quest at Friendship Level Two. This quest, known as "The Enchanted Flower," will lead you through a magical journey filled with puzzles and enchantment. To start, simply talk to Jasmine after she reaches Friendship Level Two. She will share a mysterious note she found in her home, a note with an intriguing reference to "Enchanted Pots of Blooming." With no clear answers, you and Jasmine decide to seek the wisdom of Merlin, the wise sorcerer.
Seeking Merlin’s Wisdom
To uncover the secrets of the Enchanted Pots of Blooming, you need to find Merlin. Locate him on your map and head over to his residence. Merlin, recognizing the reference from the note, recalls teaching Jasmine about arcane flower magic before the Forgetting. He explains that they were using Enchanted Pots of Blooming in their research, though his memory is a bit foggy beyond that. However, he remembers hiding some enchanted flower seeds in an envelope inside the Dreamlight Library. Merlin’s hint sets the stage for the next phase of your quest.
Finding the Enchanted Seeds
To retrieve the enchanted flower seeds, navigate to the Dreamlight Library. The seeds are located near a bag, marked by sparkles. Interact with the sparkling area, and you’ll pick up the envelope containing the seeds. Once you have the envelope, bring it back to Jasmine. If you haven’t already, consider asking Jasmine to accompany you as your companion. This will save you the trouble of running back and forth to find her while completing the quest. Now, with the seeds in hand, you’re ready to move on to the next step.
Crafting the Enchanted Pots of Blooming
With the seeds secured, it’s time to craft the Enchanted Pots of Blooming. To do this, you’ll need to gather specific materials from around your Valley:
- 15 Soil: You can obtain soil by digging up any ground in your Valley (except the beach) or by harvesting crops to get Rich Soil. Craft Soil three times at a crafting table.
- 5 Dream Shards: These can be found by digging up sparkling holes in the ground anywhere in your Valley or by clearing Night Thorns.
Once you have all the necessary materials, head to a crafting station and craft the Enchanted Pots of Blooming using the Soil and Dream Shards. After crafting the pots, return to Jasmine and give her the pots. She will then ask you to meet her at her house.
Gathering the Flowers
Before you proceed to Jasmine’s house, you need to collect specific flowers. You can find these flowers in the Peaceful Meadow or from your inventory. The flowers required for the quest are:
- Red Daisy
- White Daisy
- Yellow Daisy
- Green Rising Penstemon
- Purple Rising Penstemon
Make sure you have all these flowers before you head to Jasmine’s house. Although the quest doesn’t explicitly instruct you to do so, having the flowers ready will streamline the next steps of the quest.
Planting the Flowers and Completing the Quest
Now, it’s time to go to Jasmine’s house (wherever you’ve placed it). Before you start planting the flowers, take a look at Jasmine’s vanity. There, you’ll find a notebook with a crucial clue:
- “While the sunny daisy needs a window to thrive, the rising penstemon is a flower that prefers the shadows.”
This clue indicates that you should plant daisies near windows and rising penstemons in shadier spots. Here are the exact locations for each flower:
- Purple Rising Penstemon: In the pot to the right of the chaise lounge that’s next to the window (the pot is in the corner).
- Red Daisy and Yellow Daisy: In the pots under the crosshatch window on the left side of the room. Place the Red Daisy in the left pot and the Yellow Daisy in the right pot.
- White Daisy: In the pot under the crosshatch window next to the vanity.
- Green Rising Penstemon: In the pot on the left after you enter the house.
After placing all five flowers in the correct pots, talk to Jasmine. The enchanted flower will bloom in the large pot in the center of the room. You’ll find a Secret Journal, and you can choose from three emotions to describe the aura you feel when holding it. However, the journal is locked, and you’ll need two keys to open it (a task for another quest). Jasmine notices a code on the cover of the journal, which will require time to decode. This marks the end of "The Enchanted Flower" quest, but rest assured, there’s plenty more to explore and discover in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
